In this set of materials, the reading passage discusses that Suleyman is a ruler in history, and the listening passage support the information in the reading passage.

The reading passage describes that Suleyman is regarded as the perfect Islamic ruler in history, and he is asserted as embodying all the necessary characteristics of an Islamic ruler. The Koran points to King Solomon as embodying the perfect monarch because he so perfectly embodied justice; in fact, Suleyman is regarded in Islamic history as the second Solomon.

The listening passage supports the information in the reading passage. Suleyman is not only a ruler but also he is a lawgiver. Suleyman have established the Ottoman Empire and the Constantinople.
